As you know, there are many different types of eyes and there are different corrective techniques to make the best of your eye shape.
One specific technique of applying eyeshadow won’t suit everyone. For example if someone has down turned eyes, you want to place the darkest colour at the end of the eye creating an illusion of a lifted eye.
Or if you have protruding eyes (big eyes) – you won’t want them looking any bigger but using dark, matte colours, you can create the appearance of a smaller eye. I suppose it’s similar to contouring – the darker shade is used to create a shadow sculpting the face.
I found this helpful so wanted to share it with you.
